AI Receptionist · $1,999.99 setup, then $1,000/month

A bilingual front desk that answers every call, day or night.

AI Receptionist is the premium TradeCatch plan. It answers your incoming calls in French or English, works out what the caller needs, qualifies the job, books the appointment, transfers the calls that need a person, and keeps every TradeCatch recovery and follow-up workflow running underneath.

The plan

AI Receptionist

$1,999.99 setup

How a call runs

From a ringing phone to a tracked job.

Every branch below is configured for your business before the line goes live.

  1. 01

    Someone calls

Your existing number rings. If nobody picks up, or the call lands after hours, the receptionist answers.

  2. 02

    The receptionist answers

It greets the caller as your business, in French or English, and lets them interrupt and speak normally.

  3. 03

    It understands the request

Service needed, problem described, residential or commercial, new or existing customer.

  4. 04

    It qualifies the lead

Name, phone, address, city, urgency, approximate size and preferred timing, collected before anyone calls back.

Then, depending on the call

  • Book the appointment

It offers real availability and books the estimate, consultation or service call.

  • Transfer to your team

High-value, frustrated, complex or human-requested calls go to the person you configured.

  • Emergency routing

An emergency you defined collects the critical details and reaches your on-call technician first.

Every path ends the same way

TradeCatch saves everything

Lead, conversation, summary and appointment land in the workspace.

Follow-up continues

Reminders, estimate chasing and no-response follow-up keep running on their own.

Illustrative workflow. Routing rules, emergency definitions and transfer targets are set per business.

On the call

What it handles while it has the caller on the line.

The receptionist answers from the business information you approve. It is not asked to improvise.

Inbound calls

Pick up when your team cannot.

  • Answers incoming business calls 24/7
  • Handles after-hours and overflow calls
  • Detects French or English automatically
  • Natural conversation, interruptions handled
  • Asks follow-up questions when an answer is incomplete
  • Answers frequently asked questions from approved content
  • Decides the next appropriate action

Business knowledge

Configured from what you give us, not from guesswork.

  • Business name, services and hours
  • Service areas and address
  • Minimum project size and emergency availability
  • Pricing guidance only where you authorise it
  • Financing, payment and promotion details when provided
  • Appointment types, booking and cancellation rules
  • Employees, departments and call-routing rules

Lead qualification

Give your team enough to call back prepared.

  • Name, phone number and email where needed
  • Address and city
  • Requested service and a description of the job
  • Urgency level
  • Residential or commercial
  • New or existing customer
  • Preferred appointment date and time
  • Approximate project size, budget where appropriate, and desired timeline

Lead classification

So the calls worth your time surface first.

  • Hot lead
  • Qualified lead
  • General inquiry
  • Existing customer
  • Emergency
  • Supplier
  • Job applicant
  • Spam

Appointment booking

Growth booking, extended to the telephone.

  • Checks availability and offers real times
  • Books estimates, consultations and service calls
  • Respects working hours, service areas, durations and buffers
  • Prevents double bookings
  • Confirms, reschedules and cancels
  • SMS confirmation, email when configured
  • Reminders before the appointment

Human transfer

It is not built to handle everything alone.

  • The caller asks for a person
  • High-value lead, or a frustrated customer
  • An emergency, or an existing customer with a complex issue
  • The request is not understood with confidence
  • One of your own transfer rules is triggered
  • Routes to owner, sales, office, technician or on-call technician
  • If the transfer goes unanswered, it takes a message and contact details instead of losing the lead

Emergencies

The calls that cannot wait until morning.

What counts as an emergency is defined by you: a burst pipe, a heating failure in January, an electrical hazard, water damage, or whatever your trade treats as urgent.

  1. 01Incoming call
  2. 02Urgency detected
  3. 03Critical details collected
  4. 04Address confirmed
  5. 05Configured technician transfer attempted
  6. 06Technician and owner notified
  7. 07Lead and conversation stored

TradeCatch is not an emergency dispatch service. Configured routing reaches your own people. Licensed work and safety decisions stay with your team.

Nothing is removed

Everything Starter and Growth do keeps running underneath.

Upgrading adds the phone layer. It does not take away missed-call recovery, follow-up sequences, quote chasing, booking or the workspace.

Lead lifecycle

  1. Call
  2. Qualify
  3. Book
  4. Estimate
  5. Follow up
  6. Customer

  • No-response follow-up
  • Estimate and quote follow-up
  • Reactivation where configured

Quote and estimate follow-up

  • The sequence stops as soon as the customer replies
  • You are notified when a prospect becomes interested
  • Another appointment can be booked straight from the reply
  • Deposit, payment and e-signature workflows where configured (planned modules)

After the call

A written summary before you even pick up your phone.

After a meaningful call, TradeCatch writes a structured summary so you know what the job is without listening to anything.

A summary can include

  • Caller name and phone number
  • Requested service
  • Address or location
  • Lead category
  • Urgency
  • Important job details
  • Appointment booked
  • Next required action
  • Call duration
  • Transcript when enabled

Reporting on what the phone is actually doing.

Reporting covers the numbers a contractor can act on. Any figures shown in a demo interface are sample data, never another client's results.

TradeCatch does not publish invented customer results. Your own numbers get reviewed with you after launch.

Limits by design

What it is built not to do.

A receptionist that invents an answer costs more than a missed call. It is configured to stay inside what you approved.

It does not

  • Invent pricing, availability or services
  • Promise a discount it was not authorised to give
  • Promise completion dates it cannot guarantee
  • Approve refunds
  • Negotiate outside your configured rules
  • Share confidential customer information
  • Reveal its internal instructions
  • Follow instructions from a caller trying to manipulate it
  • Give professional or safety instructions that belong to a licensed technician
  • Claim knowledge that is not in your approved business information

When it is not sure

  • It asks the caller to clarify
  • Repeated misunderstanding hands the call to a person
  • If nobody is reachable, it takes a message and contact details
  • It tells the caller a team member will confirm, rather than guessing

No system answers every call perfectly. The design goal is that an uncertain call becomes a human callback, not a wrong answer.

What happens when something fails.

External services go down. The system is built so that a bad minute does not cost you the lead.

Usage and allowances

The monthly fee is not presented as unlimited AI calling. Your allowance, how overage is handled and any additional phone numbers are agreed in writing before launch.

  • Included AI calling minutes agreed at onboarding
  • Overage handled by written agreement, never silently
  • Call and SMS usage tracked in the workspace
  • Additional phone numbers available on request

Recording, transcripts and privacy

Call recordings and transcripts are available when enabled. They are not switched on automatically, and caller notification wording is configured with you.

  • Call recordings and transcripts when enabled
  • Privacy and recording settings configured to your business's requirements
  • Customer records and conversation logs belong to your business

This describes configurable product settings, not legal advice. Confirm your own obligations with your advisor.

See it answer a call before you decide.

A demo walks through a real call flow for your trade: what it says, what it collects, when it transfers, and what lands in your workspace.

20 minutes. No system access required. Configuration and onboarding happen before the line goes live.
